Leading Evidence Analytics and Review Company Meets Growing Demand for Electronic Discovery Solutions with Appointments of Experts in Local Languages and Cultures

Redwood City, CA. October 2, 2007. Cataphora, Inc., an industry-leading provider of evidence analytics and review software, today announced the expansion of its European office with the addition of two executives to its operations team. Cataphora has extended the breadth and depth of its leadership team in Europe to meet the region’s growing market demand for electronic discovery solutions. The expansion will include Markus Morgenroth, who has been appointed managing director of European operations, based in Frankfurt, Germany, and Mathieu Feulvarc’h serving as vice president of customer support, based in France.

"There are significant differences between United States and European laws and practices with respect to the handling of data," said Larry Morris, chairman and CEO of LDSI, a London-based provider of litigation support services. "We are delighted to see Cataphora’s commitment to addressing the needs of its European customers."

An important aspect of Cataphora’s European operations is the ability to handle European data within the European community. This is important not only for European companies, but also for international organizations that have operations in the United States and Europe. It is often a requirement for projects involving European operations that the data stays within the country of origin, subject to the data privacy laws of that country.

"Clearly, this is where a real presence on the ground gives Cataphora a practical advantage," said Markus Morgenroth, managing director of European operations, Cataphora. "This is not something that can be outsourced to another country. We are also able to offer regional support with native language expertise."

"With the growing demand for investigative analytics and corporate compliance solutions in Europe, the importance of our presence in this market has continued to increase," said Elizabeth Charnock, CEO of Cataphora. "The appointments of Markus and Mathieu mark another step in the growth of Cataphora’s ability to serve customers who have European operations. These customers will benefit significantly from Cataphora’s Europe-based support organization."

Morgenroth’s background includes both management and hands-on experience with software, hardware and IT operations in Europe and the United States. His primary responsibility will be to consolidate and grow Cataphora’s ability to work with European customers and partners.

Feulvarc’h brings to his new position significant customer support experience with organizations including CEA (the French Atomic Energy Commission), Thales Avionics, and Cap Gemini.

About Cataphora

Cataphora Inc. is the creator of C-Analytics and C-Evidence, the solutions of choice for investigative analytics and electronic evidence review. C-Analytics provide attorneys and investigators with unprecedented insight into electronic data, revealing fact and behavior patterns and providing answers to critical questions that were previously unanswerable. C-Evidence Electronic Evidence Review presents clients with the most important evidentiary data early in the review cycle and more effectively filters out junk and the other non-responsive data. By contrast with software that merely groups documents based on similarity of their contents, C-Evidence automatically finds the relationships among all the documents and all the people who created, received, or interacted with them, using these to present data for review in the most efficient review platform available.

Cataphora's C-Evidence Platform is being widely used by corporate legal departments, private law firms, and investigators with document-intensive matters in such areas as white-collar crime, securities, antitrust and intellectual property.

Cataphora is headquartered in Redwood City, California, with offices in Washington, DC, and Frankfurt, Germany, and with a certified reseller in London, England, and a field office in France. For more information, please visit www.cataphora.com.
