Industry Leading Product Provides Faster, More Effective Review for Law Firms and Corporations
Cataphora, Inc., an industry-leading provider of software for review and analysis of electronic data, today announced the immediate availability of C-Evidence Version 4.3, which incorporates a number of enhancements specifically designed to further speed the review process and to support the review requirements of customers. The C-Evidence Electronic Review Platform is part of Cataphora’s suite of products and services for customers looking to utilize the industry’s best solutions for data management. C-Evidence is designed to present clients with the most important evidentiary data early in the review cycle. C-Evidence automatically finds the relationships among all the documents and all the people who created, received, or interacted with them, using these to present data for review in the most efficient review platform available.
The latest offering provides enhancements both in the form of a new user interface and underlying functionality. The 4.3 user interface is a significant change to the look and feel of the application. It is intended to be readily used by both customers who are already familiar with the product and by new users. It introduces a tabbed, task-based design, which provides improved orientation and navigation within C-Evidence, especially for the first-time user. New features include user-customizable privilege log report generation and automatic flagging of messages sent from portable devices. In terms of underlying functionality, enhancements include performance improvements to the C-Evidence query mechanism, broader support for review of instant message logs, and improved internationalization capabilities. In addition to improvements that benefit reviewers, administrative and reporting capabilities have also been extended.
“After more than six years in the business, we well understand the enormous pressures that our customers face to make correct, defensible and timely review decisions across large and complex bodies of evidence,” commented Cataphora CEO Elizabeth Charnock. “We take every possible opportunity to make the C-Evidence platform better than ever at helping them accomplish their review and investigation goals.”
Cataphora’s products and services provide everything you need to analyze, cull, prioritize, review, and produce documents as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
About Cataphora:
Cataphora Inc. is the creator of a suite of industry-leading products for investigative analytics and electronic evidence review. These provide attorneys, compliance officers and investigators with unprecedented insight into electronic data, revealing fact and behavior patterns, and providing answers to critical questions that were previously unanswerable. Cataphora’s solutions are widely used by corporations, private law firms and investigators with document-intensive matters in areas such as white-collar crime, securities, antitrust and intellectual property.
Cataphora software is based on groundbreaking, patented technology that overthrows a long-standing assumption that the individual document is the logical unit of search and information retrieval. Instead, Cataphora’s technology offers the construct of a “Discussion™” – a logical sequence of dialog among a set of actors, which may span many items, and even different types of items. Applications built on this technology are exceptionally suitable to unraveling the implications of modern electronic communications, with their wide variety of formats and frequently very terse and cryptic nature.
Cataphora is headquartered in Redwood City, California, with offices in Washington, DC; and Frankfurt, Germany; a certified reseller in London, England; and a field office in France. For more information, please visit www.cataphora.com.
