Cataphora Inc., an industry-leading provider of software for analysis of individual and organizational behavior, has announced the immediate availability of the next version of its Digital Mirror software. This enhanced version adds Gmail support, a direct response to strong consumer demand for Digital Mirror amongst Gmail users.
Cataphora has extended Digital Mirror to support analysis of a user’s Gmail account, Microsoft Outlook™, or both simultaneously. Digital Mirror’s design roots stem from an organizational context, so it is particularly oriented towards analyzing business data. “At this point in time, Digital Mirror specializes in the analysis of work-related data and the visualizations are designed as such,” notes Cataphora CEO Elizabeth Charnock. “We realize most people use Gmail for personal mail,” Charnock continues, “but Gmail users were requesting Digital Mirror, so we simply responded to market demand for the product. We’ll see how users respond to Digital Mirror’s performance and relevancy with respect to personal mail, and tailor the application to more specifically address the analysis of personal data going forward.”
Future versions of Digital Mirror will focus on both the platforms and content typical of social media. For example, Digital Mirror’s forthcoming Love Life View will showcase the entire digital record of a user’s love life with select people by analyzing the language in their social media communications (Facebook, IMs, email, etc).
